While there is no “Google Chrome 3,” there are three exciting new generative AI features that were recently added to **Chrome M121** in January 2024:
**1. Tab Organizer:**
* Tired of having countless tabs open and struggling to find the one you need? This feature helps!
* It automatically analyzes your open tabs and suggests grouping them based on topic or theme. Say you have several travel-related tabs open, Chrome might suggest a group named “Trip Planning.”
* You can further customize these groups, rename them, and even add emojis for easy identification.
* This feature can be enabled by right-clicking on any tab and selecting “Organize Similar Tabs.”
**2. Custom Themes:**
* Ever dreamed of having a browser theme that perfectly matches your mood or interests? Now you can!
* This feature leverages the same text-to-image technology used in Android 14 wallpapers.
* Simply provide a subject, mood, visual style, and color preferences, and Chrome will generate a unique, personalized theme for you.
* Imagine having an underwater scene with a calming blue palette for a serene mood, or a vibrant cityscape with neon accents for an energetic vibe.
**3. Writing Help:**
* Need a little nudge with your online writing? This feature has you covered!
* Right-click on any text box on a website, and select “Help me write.”
* Chrome will analyze the context of the page and suggest relevant phrasing, sentence structures, and even outlines to help you get started or overcome writer’s block.
* This feature can be helpful for various online tasks, such as composing emails, crafting reviews, or filling out forms.
**Note:** These features are currently in **experimental** stages and might not be available on all Chrome versions or Chrome Profiles. You can access them by navigating to **Settings > Experimental AI** in Chrome M121.
